MYKOLAIV, DECEMBER, 18TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Today, Dec., 14th, President Viktor Yuschenko participated in the ceremony of launching a new chemical tanker (order No 152) produced by OJSC Damen Shipyards Ocean, IA Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

This chemical tanker is a universal ship for carrying both chemicals and oil products. Her length is 111,6 m, width – 32,2 m, hull height – 15,6 m, draught – 11,9 m. The ship was built for Wadan Yards AS.

According to the contract, OJSC Damen Shipyards Ocean were to build only her forebody and stern and after the launch she would be tugged to Norway for finalization.

As IA Context-Prichernomorie reported today President of Ukraine had a one-day working visit to Mykolaiv.
