MYKOLAIV, DECEMBER, 19TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – yesterday, the plane from Liberia landed at the airport of Mykolaiv having brought 85 military peacekeepers of the previous rotation of the 56th Separate Helicopter Troop of Ukrainian Armed Forces, IA Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

With the arrival of the third group of Ukrainian peacekeepers back to Motherland the regular rotation of helicopter detachment crew came to an end. During further two stages of rotation Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex n.a. Antonov is going to replace the aviation equipment of the detachment – 2 helicopters Mi-8MT and 6 helicopters Mi-24.

He congratulated the crew of 2nd Ukrainian Helicopter detachment of the 9th rotation on their successful return home; he also thanked them for their big contribution to peace support in Liberia, to strengthening our country’s authority at the international arena and wished them success in their future service.
