MYKOLAIV, JANUARY, 22nd, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – The situation at Wadan Yards Ocean has eventually stabilized, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
Press-service of Mykolaiv Oblast State Administration informed the agency about it today, 22 January, 2009.
According to Head of Mykolaiv Oblast State Administration Oleksiy Garkusha, even after the enterprise had been purchased by another organization in August, the situation there was not stable, all that provoked gossip saying the plant would soon go bankrupt and get closed.
However, recently the new investors assigned 100 million UAH – electricity, salary and Pension Fund debts repaid.
In Governor’s opinion, during the first two quarters the enterprise will hardly have positive indices as preparatory work is being done and the problems of many years handled. The Oblast authorities expect 20 % growth at the enterprise in 2009.
