MYKOLAIV, MARCH, 26th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – M/V “Princess Helen” will from now cruise to Turkey through the “Danube – Black Sea” Canal, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
The press-service of GE Delta-Pilot informed the agency about it today, 26 March.
23 March M/V “Princess Helen” navigated though the “Danube – Black Sea” Canal. The ship is servicing the only Moldovan regular line Giurgiuleşti – Istanbul – Giurgiuleşti. 17 March she made her first trip to Turkey and 23 she was coming back.
To Istanbul the ship navigated through a Romanian canal, the way back was chosen through the estuary Bystroye. According to the ship-owner, M/V Princess Helen will be passing through the “Danube – Black Sea” Canal. Pilots from GE Delta-Pilot will carry out pilotage of the vessels.
INFOMRATION: M/V “Princess Helen” flying the flag of Sierra Leone can carry 145 passengers and 500 tons of cargo. The trips will be made weekly.
