MYKOLAIV, APRIL, 09th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Seminar on “The EU Essence and Role in Today’s World” will take place in Mykolaiv, 14 April, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The PR Department of the Black Sea University n.a. Petro Mohyla informed the agency about it today, 9 April.

The event will take place within the framework of the project “Organizing of an Information on the basis of Mykolaiv Oblast Universal Library” under support of the European Programme on International Fund “Renaissance” and in compliance with the State Target Programme for informing the citizens about European integration.

The seminar will be dedicated to the role of the European Union in contemporary world, its development prospects, the place of Ukraine in the process of European integration, the possibilities for the region to influence Ukrainian integration and activities held by the Black Sea University n.a. Petro Mohyla on NATO integration of Ukraine.

In course of the event the participants will be able to discuss the essence and the role of the EU in today’s world and Ukraine’s development for meeting the EU standards first of all inside the country, Ukraine’s possible EU membership and other.
