MYKOLAIV, APRIL, 13th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – International Festival of Amateur Theatres “The Southern Masks” started in Mykolaiv, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Artem Svstun, the organizer of the Festival informed the agency about it today, 13 April.

Theatres from Moldova, Russia, Poland and different regions of Ukraine will participate in this Festival taking place 10 – 15 April. The best theatre is to get the symbol of the Festival – the “Diamond Mask”.

The participants will be presenting their visiting cards – short abstracts from various plays these days in Mykolaiv Theatre of Russian Drama. On the opening day the most active participants were awarded. After the award-giving Director of the theatre splashed traditional Champaign on the participants.
