MYKOLAIV, APRIL, 17th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – A seminar on European integration of Ukraine took place in Mykolaiv at the Centre of European Information based in the Oblast Universal Library, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Dmitry Mikhel, Deputy Director of the Centre of Information on European and Euro-Atlantic integration informed the agency about it today, 17 April.

According to Mr. Mikhel, the aim of the seminar was to inform Ukrainian citizens about the requirements of the EU concerning membership of Ukraine and how these requirements are supposed to be realised.

The event took place within the framework of the project “Creation of European Information Centre in Mykolaiv” under the “Renaissance” International Fund in compliance with State Target Programme on Informing the Population about European Integration.
