Production growth in Mykolaiv Oblast 15,9 percent

MYKOLAIV, APRIL, 22nd, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – In March this year as compared with February there is production growth making 15,9 percent, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today, 22 April at the State Administration of Statistics of Mykolaiv Oblast.

Production growth was marked in all the branches except only light industry.

Much more non-metal mineral production was manufactured than in February (building materials and other) – by 88,9 percent that is stipulated by the growth of production of wall materials by five times, prefabricated elements for cement, concrete and artificial stone constructions – by 70 percent, cement – by 56,3 percent, ready concrete mixes – by 43,4 percent.

There has also been substantial growth in exploration industry – by 55,4 percent at the expense of granite mining by 2,3 times and building sand – by 3,3 times.

As compared with February the machinery building level has increased by 17,6 percent. The level of grain grinding machinery and equipment production grew 20 times, centrifugal pump production – 10 times, welding equipment – 12 times, electric complex low-voltage control equipment – 2 times, bodies of bearings and friction bearings – by 77,8 percent, conveyors and elevators – by 55,6 percent, heat exchanger rigs – by 44,1 percent, mixers, juicers and other food grinding equipment – by 25 percent, oil and fuel engine filters – 20,3 percent. The vehicle production increased by 23 percent that was stipulated by the growth of operation level at shipbuilding enterprises.

Metallurgic production and production of ready metal goods increased by 7,1 percent in March. In particular in the production of nonferrous metals – by 6,9 percent, in production of building metal constructions and goods – by 63,6 percent, the production of metal reservoirs, radiators, and central heating boilers growing 2,2 times.

At the same time the February level in light industry was not achieved having 2,3 percent decrease as a result of cuts in production of clothing and fabrics in particular – coats and short coats – by 83,3 percent; dresses and sundresses – by 69,4 percent, blouses – by 52,2 percent, jackets for women – 39 percent; trousers for men – by 35,7 percent, skirts – by 15,8 percent and trousers for women – by 10,5 percent.
