NIKOLAEV, APRIL, 23RD, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Nikolaev sea port increased cargo processing almost by 39.5 % or on 610 thousand tons up to 2 million 154 thousand t in 1 quarter of 2008 in comparison with the similar period of the last year, “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this today, on April, 23rd, by NSTP press-service.

Total amount of the processed dry cargoes — 1 million 700 thousand t, metal products — about 250 thousand t, mineral oil — 206 thousand t.

In total Nikolaev sea port has processed 178 courts and more than 27 thousand cargo carriages in 1-st quarter of the current year.

The general extent of NSTP moorings makes 2 thousand 920 m, length of a railroad tracks — about 25 km. Mechanization structure includes 133 units of technics. Port staff includes nearby 2 thousand 700 persons.
