ODESA, MAY, 15th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Vice-Mayor of Odesa, Mikhail Kuchuk, stated if UEFA’s decision concerning Odesa not to be included into the list of host-cities was final the EURO 2012 Department of Odesa City Council would have to be dismissed, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
Mr. Kuchuk stated this today, 15 May, during his press-conference.
“We will have to make a decision. If the UEFA’s decision is final, the EURO 2012 Prepartation Department is not necessary any more”, — Mr. Kuchuk said.
As Context-Prichernomorie reported before, 3 May in Bucharest President of European Football Union, Michel Platini announced UEFA’s decision saying Odesa was not included into the list of host-cities of EURO 2012 Football Championship, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports. According to a number of media, Platini declared the final decision of the UEFA is as follows: the cities of Ukraine and Poland divided 4x4. Ukrainian host-cities will be: Kyiv, Lviv, Donetsk, and Kharkiv.
