MYKOLAIV, JUNE, 4th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Within the last four months Wadan Yards Okean OJSC launched three vessels, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Nikolay Romanchuk, Director of Wadan Yards Okean OJSC informed the agency about it yesterday, 3 June, at the meeting dedicated to keel-laying four barges for Nibulon OJSC.

23 vessels are being constructed at the plant now, two being commissioned to the clients, according to Mr. Romanchuk.

He said the plant is to finish works on the orders of a Norwegian company in July. The four barges for Nibulon OJSC will be set afloat in August.

INFORMATION: Wadan Yard Okean (Damen Shipyards Okean) is an Open Joint Stock Company specializing in production and repair of container ships, tankers, tugs, and barges having draught up to 350 thousand tons.

FLC West (Russia) owns 70 percent of shares and 30 percent belongs to STX (Korea).
