ODESA, SEPTEMBER, 9th, 2009, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Director of Odesa International Airport Svetlana Pustylnikova reported two dozens Ukrainian and international airlines had flights to Odesa Airport, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mrs. Pustylnikova declared it today 9 September giving an interview to our correspondent.

According to Mrs. Pustylnikova, “over two dozens Ukrainian and international airlines have flights to Odesa Airport using the most contemporary airplanes. Up to a hundred of set-offs and landings are carried out daily. Over the last two years the flow of passengers has gone 50 percent up.”

“In compliance with Ukrainian National Statistics Rating the company is at the second place among the national air transport companies and has been awarded ‘Leader of Ukrainian Economy’ status”, — she said.

“At present the repair upgrade works on taxiway No 1 and reconstruction of the second floor in the main building are held. These measures are directed at increasing security and safety of flights”, — Mrs. Pustylnikova added.
