MYKOLAIV, JANUARY, 22nd, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — After MBC Mykolaiv has reached the third leg of Superleague Cup, the club announced a new player arriving for a try-out, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Valentiv Berestnev, head coach of the club informed the agency about it today 22 January.

According to him, the American guard Vernon Hamilton who had graduated from Clemson University arrived in Mykolaiv on the evening of 19 January. The 25-year-old sportsman played in Turkish BBL (Darussafaka Istanbul), Latvian LBL (Liepajas Lauvas), D-League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Colorado 14ers). He started current season in Switzerland at SAM Massagno averaging 19ppg, 3.5 rpg and 2.9 apg, but was released in December '09.

MBC Mykolaiv has an experience in recruiting Tigers from Clemson — earlier we had possibility to watch another guard Terrence Oglesby (188-G-88, college: Clemson) who left the team recently.
