MYKOLAIV, FEBRUARY, 10th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Olga Kharlan, a fencer of Mykolaiv has won the gold at the Orleans Grand Prix, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 10 February at the press-service of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka congratulated Kharlan and her personal coach Artem Skorokhod as well as the entire team of the National Fencing Federation on getting the award.

According to the press-service, Olga Kharlan grabbed the first gold medal in this season at the Women's Sabre Gran Prix Orleans FRA 2010. In the final she defeated the Beijing 2008 Olympics champion, Mariel Zagunis (USA), 15:13.
