MYKOLAIV, FEBRUARY, 16th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Mykolaiv Oblast Polish Community held their traditional youth carnival, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 16 February at the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

According to their information, school children and students learning the Polish language at school and universities of the city as well as at the Polish Sunday School took part in the event.

Those who visited the event had an opportunity to get familiar with the tradition of Polish carnivals, participate in musical, educational quizzes and contests. The prize winners of the man’s and woman’s costume contest were given golden masks as well as other prizes and gifts from the Oblast Polish Community.
