MYKOLAIV, MARCH, 1st, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – In 2009 USD 21 million 800 thousand were invested in the enterprises of the Mykolaiv Oblast, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 1 March at the State Administration of Statistics in the Mykolaiv Oblast.

Direct investments from the EU at that made USD 15 million 900 thousand, while from the other countries – USD 5 million 100 thousand, the rest of funds came from the CIS countries.

Three quarters of the income were invested as cash assets, the rest in the form of property and profit re-investment.

In 2009 the investments were coming from 21 countries, most of all from the Netherlands (USD 5 million 700 thousand) and Switzerland (USD 3 million 500 thousand).
