MYKOLAIV, APRIL, 17th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Nibulon LTD has signed a contract with Wadan Yards Okean to build tugs, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 17 April at the press-service of Nibulon LTD.

The project documents have already been developed as well as all the issues resolved concerning the construction of 6 new tug ships out of 14 scheduled.

The technical characteristics of the vessels built for Nibulon are as follows: length – 37.81 m, width – 11 m, board height – 3 m, draft – 2.3 m. Maximum speed produced by 2 engines 940 kilowatt each may reach 11.5 knots per hour. The vessels well be manned by 10 people.

The self-propelled fleet navigating through Ukrainian rivers and the Caspian Sea will be delivering grain to the Middle East countries.
