MYKOLAIV, OCTOBER 18th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Black Sea Shipyard has signed a contract with Damen Shipyards Bergum to build a third ship hull for the company, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today 18 October at the press service of Black Sea Shipyard.

In compliance with the contract, signed in October 15, the ship is to be delivered to the client in the fourth quarter of 2011.

The ship will be used to transport dry cargoes and containers. Black Sea Shipyard is to construct the hull and the superstructure, and also install part of the carcase.

“We are glad to sign the third contract with the Black Sea Shipyard. We are content with the way our cooperation with the company is going on, and we hope it will continue in the future”, Damen Shipyards’ representative Remko Bouma stated it during his visit to the plant.

“Damen Shipyards Bergum is one of the first clients of Black Sea Shipyard. Today the plant’s strategy provides setting long-term partner relations, both with potential clients and the existing partners of the enterprise”, BSY General Director Valeriy Kalashnikov said.
