ODESA, OCTOBER 18th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Through the period of January—September 2010, 238 million 300 thousand passengers used transport services, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 18 October, at the Chief Administration of Statistics in Odesa Oblast.

According to the Administration, 238 million 300 thousand passengers used transport services through the period of 11 months in 2010, the level of passenger volume reached 9 billion 47 million 100 passengers/km, which is respectively by 11.7% and 2% less than in the same period in 2009.

147 million 900 thousand passengers used the services of automobile transport, which is 9.8% less than in January—September 2009.

The amount of passenger transportations on electric transport and water transport went 19.8% and 29.7% down respectively.

The amount of passengers using air transport at the same time went 23.4% or 3 thousand 400 passengers up.
