The volume of export and import growing in Mykolaiv Oblast

MYKOLAIV, OCTOBER 25th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The volume of export and import in Mykolaiv Oblast has grown by 10% and 8% respectively, export making USD 960 million 500 thousand and import — USD 474 million, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 25 October, at the Chief Administration for Statistics in Mykolaiv Oblast.

According to their data, the positive balance of foreign trade has made USD 486 million 400 thousand, while the export/import liquidity ratio has been 2.

The companies of the Oblast cooperated with 121 countries of the world. The share of export to the CIS countries made 31.4% and import — 34.9%, with the EU countries — 11.9% and 19.6% respectively. The largest importers in the Oblast were Russia, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tuekey and Tunisia. The largest importers from the oblast were Russia Guinea, Belarus, Guyana and Brazil.

The main commodities exported from the Oblast were plant products, chemicals and related products, mechanical and electric equipment. The import was mostly composed of mineral products, mechanical and electric equipment, base metals and goods made of them, ready-made food products, means of transport.
