MYKOLAIV, NOVEMBER 15th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Mykolaiv Governor Mykola Kruglov has held talks with Japanese delegation over building a bypass bridge across the Southern Buh, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 15 November, at the press service of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

According to their information, Mykolaiv Governor Mykola Kruglov held a meeting with representatives of East Consulting, Japan. The delegation was headed by Hideki Yoneyama. The aim of their visit to the region was examine the construction project of the bypass bridge across the Southern Buh.

Japanese experts handed their preliminary report and a list of questions to specify certain details. The document demonstrates the state of the approach roads, geological and engineering research, traffic load calculations, the prospects for navigation development, the state of environment etc.

Mr Kruglov, who was in charge for the matter, being in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stressed the project is supported at the highest levels of Ukrainian authorities.

As international routes go through the territory of the Oblast and a stable development of sea ports can be observed, the matter has reached national level.

In addition, the local authorities are anxious about environmental protection.

Basing on the stated above, Mykolaiv Regional State Administration guarantees stable and efficient cooperation to the Japanese party.
