ODESA, DECEMBER 9th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Izmail Commercial Sea Port is among Ukrainian cargo operation leaders in November, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 9 December, at the press office of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine.

According to their data, the situation with cargo operations is stable in the country. As of 30 November an overall of cargo operations in the 18 Ukrainian sea ports made 97 million 671 thousand tons, which is approximately equal to the same period last year. The volume of transit cargo operations made 29 million 140 thousand tons.

The leaders of November are the port of Feodosia — 707 thousand tons growth (+31%), Izmail Port — 1 million 426 thousand (+30%), Mariupol Port — 2 million 446 thousand (+20%).

The transit operation leaders are the port of Feodosia — 616 thousand tons growth (+40%), Kherson Port — 50 thousand (+23%), Illichivsk Port — 616 thousand (+18%).

The most frequent cargoes operated in Ukrainian ports in November were ore, grains, metal, coal, oil and oil products.
