ODESA, DECEMBER 13th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Deputy Bishop of the German Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ukraine, Pastor at the Apostle Paul’s Church Andrey Hamburg says the presents delivered from Germany were not cleared through the customs on time due to certain problems, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

He reported it today, 13 December, at a press conference.

“We had certain difficulties with the customs — the cargo was not cleared through on time, but in the end everything was fine. Instead of two days meant for delivery of presents the guys only had half a day, but they managed to do a lot during this time. One lorry went to the south of the region — the village of Mykhailivske. The presents were distributed at the children's home located there. Another lorry went to the north and one remained in the Odesa City. It delivered presents to 34 children’s homes here and there remained another 4 thousand presents. The rest of the presents will be distributed according to the plan provided by Odesa Regional State Administration”, Mr Hamburg said.
