M/V Mubariz Ibrahimov designed by Odesa engineers delivered at a shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey

ODESA, DECEMBER 20th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — M/V Mubariz Ibrahimov designed by Marine Engineering Bureau, Odesa, has been delivered today, 20 December at Besiktas Shipyard, Istanbul, Turkey, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 20 December, at the press service of Marine Engineering Bureau.

The press service informed the length of the vessel to be 139.95 m, width — 16.6 m, depth — 6 m.

The vessel completely meets international requirements for carriage of vegetable oil, including double-compartment unsinkability.

Her six cargo and settling tanks can carry 8 thousand 90 cubic metres, deadweight at sea — 7 thousand 50 tons at 4.6 m draft. On the river the deadweight is 4 thousand 700 tons at 3.6 m draft.

INFORMATION: OJSC Marine Engineering Bureau was registered on March, 23rd, 1995 in Odesa, Ukraine. It was founded by a group of scientists of the Shipbuilding Department, Odesa National Maritime University. OJSC Marine Engineering Bureau works out pre-contract classification projects, projects of “conversion”, upgrade and renewal of sea vessels for internal and mixed journeys. They also prepare projects for increasing carrying and container capacities of ships and other related work.
