ODESSA, JUNE, 04TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – This week, open joint-stock company «Ukrtransnafta» intends to conclude contracts with Drogobychsky and Nadvornyansky Oil-refining plants on use of an oil pipeline «Odessa-Brody» in a project direction, “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

As number of the Ukrainian mass-media informs, such statement was made by open joint-stock company «Ukrtransnafta» board chairman Igor Kiryushin.

«This week we plan to sign the contract with them, at least its basic part, about use of this direction within two years on conditions «swing or pay», — he has told.

According to I.Kiryushkin, this will allow the company to keep profitableness of a line at a level corresponding to profit from transportation of 9 million t of the Russian oil in a reverse mode. Each of these two Oil-refining plants will annually pay «Ukrtransnafta» 68 million dollars

As IA “Context-Prichernomorie” informed earlier, on May, 22nd the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko has created Interdepartmental working group on study of questions of coordination of the «Odessa-Brody» oil pipeline work in a project direction.

The group is created «proceeding from the fact that transformation of work of an oil pipeline «Odessa-Brody» in a project direction with preservation of a level of incomes from its usage is equitable to interests of national safety of Ukraine in energy sphere».

The given Decree entrusts to interdepartmental working group to develop and submit in a week term a plan of measures on transformation of work of an oil pipeline «Odessa-Brody» in a project direction operating mode since 2008 providing preservation of a level of incomes of its use.
