ODESA, MARCH 16th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — A Romanian company MBS Invest SRL is ready to start implementing the Orlovka-Isaccea ferry project, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

A company representative informed about it yesterday, 15 March, at the sitting of the working group Transport Potential Development of the Regional Committee for Economic Reforms.

«We really want Ukraine to start the project ferry Orlovka-Isaccea too. We, in our turn, are willing to provide free ready-made projects to create a number of infrastructural facilities in Orlovka. This will create two mirrored checkpoints. According to our calculations, all of 14 hectares, we want to spend around 15 million euros. The investment contributed by Ukraine when the project is being implemented does not need to meet our investment», he said.

Answering the question of deputy chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Lyudmyla Varavva on whether the MBS Invest SRL can do the construction of a similar checkpoint on the Ukrainian side, the investor said that his company is ready to undertake the project ferry Orlovka-Isaccea in Ukraine.

«I think that the company can implement it. If we receive the appropriate permissions from you, we will begin to implement the project. We can even share with Ukrainian investors — we do not claim we should do it on our own. We are open for cooperation», he stressed.
