MYKOLAIV, APRIL 4th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Managing board of JSC Wadan Yards Ocean is expected to be replaced shortly, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Governor of Mykolaiv Region Mykola Kruglov informed about it, 2 April, at a news conference.

“Members of the Supervising Committee of the shipbuilding plant Ocean informed me they were going to replace the managing board of the company. These measures will be taken because the situation is getting worse every month. As of today, the companies indebtedness to the staff makes UAH 18 million plus pension fund payments”, the Governor informed.

“The main reason of it is that the owners appoint people in charge who are incapable of working with this kind of core assets”, the official said. Then, he reminded of the same situation at Mykolaiv Black Sea Shipbuilding Yard. “The situation there had been the same until, the managers were replaced”, the Governor stressed.
