KHERSON, MAY 11th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Ukrainian grandmaster of Kherson Yuri Solodovnichenko has won at the XXI International Chess Tournament in France, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency today has been informed about it today, May 11, at the Kherson Youth Chess School.

38 chess-players participated in the tournament, the Swiss system, 9 rounds.

Yuri Solodovnichenko scored 7,5 points out of 9, ahead of a half point Abhidzhita Gupta from India and his countryman Viacheslav odessite Einhorn, who took 2 and 3 places.
