ODESA, MAY 23rd, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Rugby players of Odesa have taken the sixth result at the Rugby Sevens International Tournament for Youths of 1993—1994 y.o.b. in the Memory of Sergey Guguev, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 20 May, at the press service of the Rugby Federation of Odesa Region.

According to the press service, VII Rugby Sevens International Tournament for Youths of 1993—1994 y.o.b. in the Memory of Sergey Guguev was taking place though May 21—22 in Kyiv. At the first round our team was the fourth — the game against Donetsk ended in a draw 17:17, they lost to times in favour of Zelenograd (0:31) and Youth Sports School No 12 (17:12).

In the first semi-finals Dmitry Fedishin’s trainees managed to beat the team of Kyiv, while they lost to Donetsk in a match for the fifth prize (5:22).

“In general, despite the place taken on the tournament list, the team demonstrated a high-level performance. Among those who managed to demonstrate their best ability were Sergiy Holod, Kostinatyn Burdin, Mykola Rechich, Vlad Ilnytskyi, and Dan Adeyev”, they stressed at the press service.
