MYKOLAIV, JUNE 21st, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Mykolaiv high jumper Vita Stepina has won the silver at European Championships, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today 21 June, at the press offices of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

According to their information, the III Athletic Team European Championship came to an end in the Capital of Sweden, where Ukrainian team scored 304 points taking the third team position. Russia was the first and Germany took the second place at the podium.

Stepina took the height of 1.89 m thus becoming the silver prize winner at this tournament.

At this Champioship Ukraine managed an overall of 8 gold medals, 4 silver and 5 bronze prizes.
