ODESA, OCTOBER 5th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — A delegation from Klaipeda Sea Port, Lithuania, has visited Odesa Commercial Sea Port, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the press service, yesterday 4 October, a delegation of the port of Klaipeda, headed by the Director of Marketing and Administration Arturas Drungilas visited Odesa Port. The delegation also included 17 journalists — representatives of print and electronic media in Lithuania. Acting Chief of the Odesa port Yuri Vaskov was receiving the guests.
Yuri Vaskov told the guests about Odesa port, answered numerous questions from the reporters. Lithuanian guests had an opportunity to go on an excursion round the port, during which they visited two container terminals, the terminal under construction — Quarantine Bay and other port facilities.
“This is not the first visit of the Lithuanian colleagues in our port: 5 years ago, the administration of the two ports engaged in a dialogue about the problems of port activities. Odesa and Klaipeda ports have a lot in common: both are in the historic district, rolled over the identical goods, building their capacity. In addition, the ports connected by a single line contrailer Viking”, the press-service added.
