ODESA, NOVEMBER 8th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Launch of the second construction stage of the production complex Delta Wilmar CIS takes place in Yuzhnuy, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Chief Administration for Economics, Odesa Regional State Administration, informed today, 8 November.

According to the Office, Delta Wilmar CIS is a modern oil extraction plant for processing of sunflower and rapeseed, with the capacity of 1 thousand 200 tons of sunflower seeds per day, and grain storage capacity — 30 thousand tons of sunflower seeds and 45 tons of rape.

The construction of the plant will be completed in the I quarter of 2013. The volume of investments makes about USD 75 million, the area — 4.4 hectares. Estimated number of jobs — about 200.

The Office also noted that the commissioning of new plants will allow the company to geographically unite all stages of processing the oil into a coherent whole, to minimize logistics costs, thereby decrease production costs and increase profitability.

Member of the Board of Directors of the company Nikolai Nesterov said: “The company chose the site for over a year for investment, and the choice fell on the Odessa region.”

He also added that “this is the result of regional authorities.”
