ODESA, NOVEMBER 9th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 4—6 November, in Tamási, Hungary, there was a World Pankration Championship for Youth, where athletes of Odesa won five gold medals, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The first vice-president of the Odesa Regional Federation of Pankration, Lernik Musayelyan announced today, 9 November, during a press conference summing up the results of the World Pankration Championship 2011.

According to his information, at the World Championship in Pankration Championships held 4—6 November in Tamas, Hungary, as well as the Cup Final Grand Prix, athletes from the Odesa region, Ukraine, won five gold medals, two silver and two bronze.

“Taking into account the fact, that this is the first experience for Odesa athletes in competitions of such level, in the national team of Ukraine, we have achieved quite good results”, said A. Musaelyan.
