ODESA, DECEMBER 16th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The Administration of Odesa Commercial Sea Port has been handed the International Ecological Certificate ISO 14001:2004, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the press service, today, 16 December, the administration of the State Enterprise Odesa Commercial Sea Port has been awarded an updated certificate of compliance with the requirements of the enterprise of international environmental standard ISO 14001:2004.

The document has been issued on the advice of the world’s leading company’s experts in standardization sector Bureau Veritas Certification based recertification audit carried out in November in the port of Odesa.

The leading auditor of Bureau Veritas Certification Valentin Bogachenko said that the management system of environmental management in the enterprise is “functional and meets the national and international requirements.”

As previously reported, the international standard for environmental management ISO 14001:2004 was introduced in the port of Odesa in 2008. The new certificate is valid until 2014.
