ODESA, DECEMBER 19th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — XIV International Boxing Tournament in memory of Roman Pesin was held in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Information Office of Odesa City Council reported today, 19 December.

According to the Office, 16 December, a solemn opening of the International Boxing Tournament in Memory of USSR Master of Sports Roman Pesin was held at the skating ring Icicle under the auspices of Odesa Regional Boxing Federation. This tournament has been held 14 times.

Chairman of the Commission on Youth and Sports of the Odesa City Council Oleg Etnarovich, president of the Odesa Regional Boxing Federation and Odesa City Council member Oleksandr Kryzhanovsky welcomed the participants of the tournament on behalf of the Odesa City Council

The tournament was attended by athletes from Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, autonomous territorial unit of Gagauzia.
