ODESA, FEBRUARY 16th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Chairperson of Odesa Regional Council Mykola Pundik has informed medics from Odesa will now have a chance to go to Israel to obtain experience, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The official stated today, 16 February, during his meeting with the Minister of Immigrant Absorption of Israel Ms Sofa Landver and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Ukraine Mr Reuven Din El.

“We know that Israel is a world leader in health care. This year has been announced the year of health in the Odesa Region under the People’s Budget programme. This is not only the development of medicine, but also sports. And we are very interested in cooperation with Israel as far experience exchange among our physicians is concerned. Negotiations are under way, and there are programmes allowing our doctors to go to Israel and get some experience in health care”, said Mr Pundik.

“Likewise, we are very interested in the experience of Israel and innovation in agriculture and processing of agricultural products”, he added.
