ODESA, FEBRUARY 16th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Ukraine Mr Reuven Din El.

The envoy stated today, 16 February, during his meeting with Chairperson of Odesa Regional Council Mykola Pundik.

“I would like to get down to the issue of cooperation and priorities from a different point of view. Today, there are contracts, agreements and personal friendship between the two countries at the highest level. We talked about everything and everyone agrees. I think we should not begin a new dialogue, but take one of those frames that have already been defined, and begin to implement them into practice. Specifically, for example, Odesa would like to do this, that and that. We shall discuss it soon and see if it suits us. And then the real work begins”, said the Ambassador.

“Nothing ever comes out of common dialogs. We need to start working precisely”, he added.
