MYKOLAIV, JUNE 18th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Olga Kharlan of Mykolaiv has become Champion of Europe in sabre fencing, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the press service, the European Championships in fencing continues in Lignano, Italy. The Ukrainian team has managed to win two awards ― the gold and bronze. A distinctive hat-trick did the Olympic champion Olga Kharlan of Mykolaiv in the individual competitions. After taking the gold in 2009 and 2011, the athlete has managed to become the champion of Europe once again. In the finals with a score 15:14 O. Kharlan beat Vassilika Vugiuka, Greece.
