MYKOLAIV, JULY 20th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRIUCHERNOMORIE ― Mykolaiv mayor Volodymyr Chaika has gone to Moscow to participate in an international conference, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Mykolaiv City Executive Committee informed today, 20 July.

According to the press service, July 19, the mayor of Mykolaiv went to the capital of northern neighbour ― Moscow, in order to discuss with his colleagues from the cities of the CIS the issue of retraining and training of highly qualified managers for cities. Such a dialogue will be held today, July 20, the Moscow City Government University of Management in Moscow, where will be held the Nineteenth Session of the International Assembly of Capitals and Cities, which will include the international conference on Integrated Training and Retraining for Urban Management as a Basis for Effective Modernization in Terms of Integration into the Global System.

The conference objectives are to review effective models of training and retraining of personnel for state and municipal management, training, exchange of experiences, best practices, discussion and development of unified approaches to creating an effective system of integrated training and retraining on the basis of effective cooperation among all stakeholders — the future professionals state or municipal employees undergoing training.
