ODESA, AUGUST 11th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated the London Olympic Champion gold Yuriy Cheban, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the press service of the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych congratulated canoe paddler Yuriy Cheban on the occasion of his winning the gold medal at the XXX Olympic Games in London.

“The athletic success you have demonstrated the desire of Ukrainian athletes to achieve high results in the most prestigious Games, to increase the glory of our country. Ukraine is proud of you”, the message says.

President Yanukovych wished the champion “all the good, peace, prosperity and many new achievements”.
