The press service of the National Olympic Committee informed today, 13 August.

“Every victory at the Olympic Games was difficult. I did not pursue that, as in Beijing, final clash should end in round 1, did not force the issue. As in every battle, I need to look at the opponent, to feel his options and further implement the tasks set. Despite my experience, before each fight I feel excitement. Most likely, this is my last fight in amateur boxing, but I do not know my father’s opinion on this account, neither do i know the coach’s opinion, all this is still to be discussed”, said V. Lomachenko.

The NOC of Ukraine also stressed that only the Olympic Games in London, the Ukrainian team won an overall of 20 medals (6 gold, 5 silver and 9 bronze) and 14-team place.
