ODESA, OCTOBER 17th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― International Scientific Conference “Actual problems of modern hydrometeorology” has started today at the Odesa State Environmental University, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

More than 70 people from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Moldova participate in the conference.

According to the Head of Agrometeorology Department of Odesa State Environmental University Anatoliy Polevoy, this conference is almost for students, masters and postgraduates. Problems of hydrometeorology cover meteorology, hydrology, oceanography and meteorology.

“The purpose of the conference is to exchange experience, to give students the opportunity to speak. If we talk about the actual problems of hydrometeorology, we talk about the problems of our lives”, Director of Hydrometeorological Centre of Odesa State Environmental University Valeriya Ovcharuk.
