ODESA, NOVEMBER 13th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Consul General of Poland in Odesa Joanna Strzelczyk has been awarded by the Odesa Regional Council and the Odesa Regional State Administration on the occasion of the Independence Day of Poland, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration reported today, 13 November.

According to the press service, on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Poland, celebrated on 11 November, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Odesa Joanna Strzelczyk was awarded the Diploma of Merit for “the significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Polish interregional relations”.

The press service of the Odesa Regional Council reported Mykola Pundik visited the Consulate General of Poland in Odesa on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Poland. On behalf of the regional council deputies he congratulated the consulate workers and wished welfare, peace and prosperity.

Joanna Strzelczyk was awarded the Badge of Honour of the Odesa Regional Council for «the significant contribution to the development of all-round ties, further cooperation and strengthening of multifaceted bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres between the Odesa Region and voivodeships of Poland for the welfare of our peoples and on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Poland.

Also Mykola Pundik presented watches to the consuls Adam Adamczuk and Bohusław Bojanowicz.
