ODESA, NOVEMBER 16th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Black Sea Shipyard has launched the fifth universal vessel hull of the CF3850 project for the Damen Shipyards Bergum Company, Denmark, yesterday, 15 November, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Black Sea Shipyard’s press service reported today, 16 November.

According to the press service, the vessel is intended for the dry cargo and containers transportation. The hull is equipped with removable tween decks, the grain processing and superstructure were significantly re-equipped.

The vessel’s length ― 88.6 m, breadth ― 12.5 m, depth ― 7 m, deadweight ― 3.8 tons, draught ― 5.4 m. The first vessel of this series for the Dutch company was launched in 2010.

“We launched on the fifth universal vessel for our Dutch partners, Damen Shipyards Bergum. Today, we are in negotiations with potential customers for the same type of products as we offer a more competitive price compared with foreign shipyards”, General Director of PJSC “BSS” Valery Kalashnikov noted.
