ODESA, NOVEMBER 22nd, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Odesa Regional Prosecutor has referred to court the criminal case on kidnapping of 15 citizens of Afghanistan, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s press service reported today, 22 November.

Odesa Regional Prosecutor referred to court the criminal case for part 2. 146 of the Criminal Code (Illegal detention or kidnapping).

5 people accused in illegal detention of 15 citizens of Afghanistan for ransom.

Elderly people and young children were among the kidnapped.

As previously reported, August 1, the employees of the Office for Combating Organized Crime of the Odesa Region released 15 foreigners, who were in captivity for more than 4 days. Perpetrators wanted to earn USD 10 thousand.
