ODESA, FEBRUARY 6th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Head of Odesa Regional State Administration Eduard Matviychuk and Odesa Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev have joined the Coordination Committee for the preparation and holding of the final tournament of the European Basketball Championship 2015, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed today, 6 February, The corresponding decree № 71/2013.

According to the decree, the Coordination Committee formed to ensure proper preparation and holding of the final tournament of the European Basketball Championship 2015. The main form of the Coordination Committee is meetings held at least once a quarter. The decisions of the Coordination Committee will be mandatory for the central and local executive authorities. The support for the operation of the Coordination Committee is the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.

Prime Minister Mykola Azarov headed the Committee.

INFORMATION: The FIBA EuroBasket 2015 will be the 39th edition of the FIBA EuroBasket championship that is organized by FIBA Europe. It will take place in Ukraine. The decision was taken by the FIBA Europe Board on December 18, 2011.
