ODESA, FEBRUARY 7th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― XIII International Specialized Exhibition “Wine and Winemaking” has opened today, 7 February, in the Exhibition Complex of Odesa Commercial Sea Port, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Director of the Department of Agricultural Development of the Odesa Regional State Administration Anatoliy Novakovsky, MFA representative in Odesa Konstantin Rzhepishevsky, Head of Culture and Tourism of the Odesa City Council Tetiana Markova, chairman of the NGO “Regional Development Agency” Galina Bezikovich, representatives of the wine-making companies of Odesa region, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Georgia.

The exhibition runs until 9 February. These days, visitors can observe the wine production presented by the Companies, taste and buy brandy, wine, vermouth, balms, vodka of Ukrainian and foreign producers.

The Exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Odesa Regional State Administration, Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Ukraine, Ukrainian Corporation of Viticulture and Winemaking “UkrVinProm”, Assembly of European Wine-producing Regions “Assemblée des Régions Européennes Viticoles (AREV)”.

The scientific patronage of the exhibition carries out the leading Ukrainian scientific institutions: of National Institute of vine and wine “Magarach” NAAS, the Institute of viticulture and winemaking in the name of VE Tairov, Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies, National University of Food Technologies.
