ODESA, MARCH 20th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The President of Odesa International Film Festival Viktoria Tigipko has expressed the hope that more than 130 thousand viewers will visit the festival, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

President of the Odesa International Film Festival Viktoria Tigipko reported yesterday, 19 March, during the press conference.

“In 2012 we expand beyond limit of 100 thousand viewers... This year we expect even 130-150 thousand people”, Viktoria Tigipko noted. “Also, last year 5 thousand distinguished guests from 40 countries visited us. I do not think there will be more countries, but we have to move and we are actively developing. I hope that this year it will be more visitors from other countries, but we turn particular attention to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the Russian-speaking space... Last year, it was also more than 700 journalists from around the world and 1 thousand professionals attended the festival and gave master classes and lectures”.

As previously reported, the IV Odesa International Film Festival will be held through 12 ― 20 July 2013.
