Governor meets Ambassador of Korea to Ukraine

ODESA, APRIL 12th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The Governor of Odesa Regional State Administration Eduard Matviychuk has met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic Korea to Ukraine H.E. Kim Eun-joong, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Odesa Regional State Administration reported today, 12 April.

According to the press service, during the meeting the Ambassador expressed interest in investing in Ukraine, in particular, in the Odesa region. Namely, there was talk of the construction of a grain terminal in Ukraine, which may be located in the Odesa region.

The representative of the Republic Korea is ready to move to Ukraine the latest storage technologies. And before a large-scale sporting event Eurobasket a modern highway for high-speed trains can be built. The Head of the region noted that such a project would be particularly interesting for the route Odesa-Kyiv.

“It would allow the Odesa region to develop tourism infrastructure. And we are prepared to lobby for such a project,” Eduard Matviychuk noted.

Summing up the meeting, the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic Korea to Ukraine expressed their common desire to work efficiently and effectively implement all possible investment projects.
