ODESA, APRIL 19th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― On the Base of the Odessa Secondary Special Music School named after Stolarski, the I International Conference “Music and aesthetic education of children. Challenges and Prospects” is taking place 18 ― 21 April in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Odes City Council Information Office reported today, 19 April.

According to the Office, the organizer of the conference is the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Odesa City Council with the support of the public organization of Swiss-Ukrainian cooperation “Legato”. Representatives of Switzerland and Germany are invited to participate in the conference.

The following questions are considered to be reviewed: creative methods of teaching; team teaching to play musical instruments; music teaching of adults; improvisation; psychological aspects and musician’s health.

“The implementation of the I International Conference is essential for the development of musical culture of our city and it will contribute to strengthening the international relations of Odesa with the European countries, the exchange of educational and creative experience in the field of musical and aesthetic education of children,” the Office noted.
